ORIGINAL PATH THROUGH THE WOODS LANDSCAPE OIL PAINTING SIGNED M. This is really a wonderful original. I bought a collection of impressionist artworks from a Cape Cod collection. Some signed, some unsigned but all very good pre war American Impressionist works.

I think this is an incredible work. This is one of a pair of paintings in the collection signed what I believe is MW Ells. I have been unable to find who the artist is. Definitely seem to be New England scenes. A wonderful view of a path heading into the woods. Oil on board measuring 12 x 16 inches. Overall very good condition with just some minor scuffs and surface grime. Overall a very good work.
