New Pics added(Last 3) based on questions. There is a curved base on the bottom so this model would have been the one that sat on a round tire shaped drumExample shown in the last picture - Not Included! Also, the side has a gasket screwed on to it.

The cast iron casing has no cracks or breaks. Offering this extremely rare, model 39, Eco Tireflator made by Service Station Equipment Company - Conshohocken PA.

This model was made in the mid 1930's. For the Gas & Oil enthusiast who has it all - you probably don't have this. Made of cast iron - dimensions are about 18" tall x 10" wide x 10 deep and weighs about 40 pounds. Here is some online information I obtained on the ECO TIREFLATOR. 1916 (circa) Western Manufacturing Company, which was based out of Oskoloosa, Iowa, first introduced its brand of Economy Air Meters around this time.

The product name was soon shortened to just ECO air meters. 1917 Advertisements for the ECO No. 8 air meter began to appear about one year after its launch, featuring the first seven units ever pushed into the market.

1920 (circa) Forward-thinking for its time, Western Manufacturing Company marketed its No. 20 (Model 20) air meter with a coin attachment. 25 today is an unfortunate reality, but back then, coughing up a nickel to get air didnt make much sense (or cents). 1925 (circa) The company launched a new series around this time dubbed, ECO 19 Series, which included 11 different air meter types. 1930 Just two years after being relocated from Iowa to Ohio, the ECO Division was transferred to Muskegon, Mich.

Which was the home of SSECs Bennett Pump Company. 1931 As the Great Depressiom of the 1930s began to grip the United States, five new air meter models were introduced as part of ECO 39 Series, which were expensive for their time.

1932 In response to the sticker shock associated with ECO 39 Series one year earlier, ECO rolled out its 15 Series air meters. This stripped-down unit was simplified to meet market demand, as well as reduced market prices. While in Muskegon, the fronts of the air meters from the 39 and 15 series were embossed with the name ECO.

1933 Feeling the squeeze of the Great Depression, SSEC consolidated its operations, shifting the ECO and Bennett Pump Company to its facility in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania. While in Conshohocken, the fronts of the air meters from the 39 and 15 series were embossed with the acronym SS. 1934 Wanting to remain fresh, but not rock the economic boat, 33 Series air meters, which featured the same mechanism as previous editions, were introduced in this year. 1937 SSEC relocated its operations back to Muskegon and continued to sell its 33 Series through 1950.
