Vintage 1955 WOLF'S HEAD Motor Oil Painted Double Sided FLANGE Sign Wolverine Co
Offered today is an amazing looking Wolf's Head double sided flange sign. This sign is in excellent original condition and displays beautifully! The paint is strong and bold and seems to jump right off the surface! This sign does have a couple minor flaws as you can see in the pics. There is one prominent scratch just next to the Wolf's Head logo that can be seen in photos # 5 and 11.
There are also some buffing swirls throughout both sides if you look close at an angle. Could easily be buffed is one was so inclined.
Hardly noticeable unless you're standing right in front of it. Manufactured by the Allen Morrison Sign Company in September of 1955. Sign measures exactly 21-3/4" X 17-1/8" wide. Great example of a iconic hard to find sign!
