1980's Vintage Gulf Oil / Gas Lighted Sign, Excellent Condition! No Reserve

  

This is a early 1980's Gulf Oil Lighted Sign in excellent condition! It has been completely cleaned inside and out and gently polished to renew the metal case finish and the polycarbonate face. It has a new florescent fixture and bulb inside and lights up beautifully.

All you have to do is hang it up and enjoy it! The size of this sign is 21 inches wide by 19.25 high x 6.5 inches deep.

I really like this size as it takes less room to display than the typical larger ones. Lights up nice and bright and color is really great! The face and the blue rim flange does have some specs of paint loss here and there but the overall condition is very very nice! This sign was manufactured by Kolux Manufacturing in Kokomo, Indiana and is dated 1982. It is wired for 110 volt, normal house current, with a pull chain on / off switch on the back.

Most of these signs are usually very dirty and have been outside for years and often corroded on the inside. This sign has been nicely cleaned inside and out and is ready to enjoy. I believe this one may have been an indoor sign. I pack very well to assure the item is protected from damage.
