Wonderful original black velvet painting of nude Tahitian girl. The signature looks to me as though it says Wigington? The quality of the piece is fantastic and the condition is excellent with a beautiful custom bamboo style wooden frame. It is quite a large piece measuring approximately 32 x 38 framed, and the image size is approximately 23 1/2 x 29 1/2. Any information on the artist would be appreciated. Ive had several black velvet paintings over the years and it is very difficult to take quality photos but I assure you this one looks better in person with rich colors and deep blacks.
